Use of Cookies

The Linda Clarke Web site use “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize Linda Clarke pages, or register with Linda Clarke site or services, a cookie helps Linda Clarke to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. Google Remarketing on Display Network:

Definition of Google Remarketing:

Remarketing is a feature that lets you reach people who have previously visited your site, and show them relevant ads when they visit other sites on the Google Display Network. When people leave your site without buying anything, for example, remarketing helps you connect with these potential customers while they browse other websites. You can even show them a compelling message or offer that will encourage them to return to your site and complete a purchase.

Use of Google Remarketing on Linda Clarke:

Our Google Adwords campaign on the Display network is targeting the use of hypnotherapy for weight loss and to stop smoking. We have set the remarketing feature to create 3 lists: hypnotherapy, weight loss and Stop smoking. We are using the remarketing feature only where you land on a website that is related to weight loss, smoking, health and hypnotherapy.

Use of Cookies:

Google uses the DoubleClick DART cookie in its Google Display Network advertising services and may place and read cookies on your browser, or using web beacons to collect information on your pages.

How to opt out of Google use of Cookies:
